I created detailed digital illustrations of the skulls of the extinct Triceratops and Smilodon for the Spanish article “La extinción de los dinosaurios” (The Extinction of the Dinosaurs).
These illustrations were developed to enhance the scientific accuracy and visual impact of the article, complementing the written content.
Additionally, I was responsible for the pagination design of the magazine, ensuring a seamless integration of both visuals and text for an engaging and cohesive reading experience.
Here's a glimpse of the illustration process for this Triceratops skull coming to life through the numerous lines of the hatching style that I love so much.
What's great about this is that it not only enhances the shapes and shadows but also evokes a sense of antiquity, as if you were observing fossils in a museum.
